Glen Burn

A stream which has its source in the Glenburn Reservoir in the Brownside Braes above Paisley in Renfrewshire, Glen Burn descends through a steep little gorge before entering a series of culverts which hide its course through the Glenburn district of the town before falling into the Espedair Burn and eventually the White Cart Water. It has a course of 1½ miles (2.5 km). The water was once used by various factories associated with the town's textile industry. The stream been subject to flooding and flood prevention measures implemented 2005-07.
