The South Top of Beinn a' Bhuird is located in W Aberdeenshire and reaches 1177m (3861 feet) in height, 1½ miles (2.5 km) south of the North Top, which is slightly higher at 1197m (3927 feet). Its long south-facing slope descends to the Quoich Water. The corrie of Coire na Ciche lies to the northeast, one containing the Dubh Lochan.
