Lonachan

A drying islet in the E of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides, Lonachan is one of several small islands which separates Loch Minish from Loch Maddy to the north of the Sponish Peninsula and a mile (1.5 km) north of the settlement of Lochmaddy. It reaches 10m (32 feet) above sea level.
