Carn an t-Sagairt Mor

(Carn Taggart)

A mountain in the E Grampians, Carn an t-Sagairt Mor (also Carn Taggart) rises to a height of 1047m (3435 feet) southwest of Lochnagar and southeast of Braemar in Aberdeenshire. Classified as a Munro, its name is derived from the Gaelic for "big hill of the priest". To the north of its rounded summit are the remains of an RAF Canberra jet, which crashed here in 1956.
