A stream which forms below the Kaim Dam in W Renfrewshire, the Kaim Burn flows southeast through a wooded gorge to Kaim and then on to the Kaimburn Bridge (which carries the B786 road) at which point it turns south, soon becoming the Cloak Burn. Its length is around 1¼ miles (2 km). Copper was being mined hereabouts from prehistoric times, but the Kaim Mine - the entrance to which can still be seen in the gorge - operated in Victorian times.
