Gouk Hill

A steep little hill of E Argyll and Bute, Gouk Hill rises to a height of 277m (908 feet), 3 miles (5 km) east of Helensburgh. It lies next to the Highland Boundary Fault, a half-mile (1 km) east of Ben Bowie. All but its summit is cloaked in plantation forest. Gouk Hill is recorded erroneously on the First Edition Ordnance Survey map as Cock Hill.
