A retail park-style shopping centre lying to the north of Falkirk town centre, Central Park (sometimes referred to as Grahamston Retail Park) is situated to the east of Falkirk Grahamston Station on a brownfield site which was a former railway goods depot and iron-works, as well as being the location of Diamond Stadium, a greyhound-racing track that closed in 1989.
The retail park comprises 28 units, anchored by a large Tesco supermarket, and including a 3900 sq. m (41,979 sq. feet) multi-screen cinema and a 2335 sq. m (25,133 sq. feet) commercial health club. The Tesco store is open twenty-four hours and also provides a petrol station. Although easily accessible on foot and by public transport, a significant attraction is the free parking for 2500 cars.
