A district, road junction and undergound station in central Glasgow, St. George's Cross lies a half-mile (1 km) northwest of the city centre. The road junction sits next to the Charing Cross junction on the M8 motorway, bringing the A82 Great Western Road and Maryhill Road to that larger junction. The Glasgow Underground station lies between Cowcaddens and Kelvinbridge.
