A summit amongst the Lowther Hills in the N Dumfries and Galloway, Green Hill rises to 588m (1929 feet) between Stood Hill and Black Hill, a half-mile (1 km) west southwest of Wanlockhead. The slower slopes of this hill were mined for lead and spoil heaps remain.
