The Almondell Aqueduct (or Canal Feeder Aqueduct) carries the Canal Feeder, a channel which transports water to the Union Canal, over the River Almond within the Almondell and Calderwood Country Park in West Lothian. It is located a quarter-mile (0.5 km) north of East Calder. Built in 1820, the aqueduct comprises a 25-m (82 -foot) long cast-iron trough on a cantilevered support which is said to represent a replica of the famous Iron Bridge over the River Severn at Ironbridge in Shropshire. It is 1.8m (5 feet, 10 inches) in width and has a maximum height of 3.55m (11½ feet) at the centre.
