An aqueduct which draws water from the River Almond above a weir a quarter-mile (0.5 km) northwest of East Calder, and transports it 2 miles (3 km) to the northeast to Lin's Mill, where it is used to maintain the level of the Union Canal. The aqueduct generally follows the course of the Almond, but crosses it via the Canal Feeder Aqueduct at Almondell.
