A small general practitioner-led hospital in Castlebay on the island of Barra in the Outer Hebrides, St. Brendan's Hospital shares a building with a local authority elderly care home facility and is principally focused on geriatric medicine but provides some other services to the local community. It has five beds and is run by NHS Western Isles.
The care home accommodates up to ten elderly people, with one place available for respite care.
