Cockle Burn

A stream which forms from the Dolphington Burn, a mile (1.5 km) east of Dalmeny in the NW of the City of Edinburgh council area, the Cockle Burn flows east under the B924 road just to the north of its junction with the A90 and then proceeds northeast through Dalmeny Park, to fall into the Firth of Forth a quarter-mile (0.5 km) east southeast of Dalmeny House. It is approximately 1¼ miles (2 km) in length.
