A stream which forms a tributary of the Water of Fail in South Ayrshire, the Bloody Burn rises a quarter-mile (0.4 km) southwest of Coilsfield Mains. It flows east northeast to fall into the Water of Fail a half-mile (0.6 km) west northwest of Failford, having completed a course of only half-a-mile (1 km).
