Blount Island

A riverine island in the middle of the River Tweed, opposite Norham in England and a mile (1.6 km) east of Ladykirk, Blount Island once lay completely within Scotland but owing to an extending sandbank at its upstream (western) end, the border now cuts through that section of the island. There is no resident population.
