Knockiedim

A modest hogback in the W of Galloway, Knockiedim rises to approximately 95m (311 feet) immediately to the north of the A75 Trunk Road, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) east northeast of Glenluce. Knockiedim overlooks Dervaird Loch to the south. This is one of a number of drumlins in this area and is aligned NNE-SSW indicating the direction of glacial flow.
