Stewarton Hill

An oval hillock in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Stewarton Hill rises to 45m (147 feet), to the east of Stewarton, overlooking Baldoon Sands and Wigtown Bay, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) southeast of Kirkinner. This represents one of a number of drumlins in this area, with its principal axis aligned NW-SE indicating the direction of glacial flow.
