Old Inn Interchange

A junction on the M80 motorway in Cumbernauld (North Lanarkshire), the Old Inn Interchange is formally designated as Junction 6 and is located between Cumbernauld Village and Wardpark. It provides access to Cumbernauld Town Centre from the northeast, as well as the town's northwestern suburbs. Built in the 1960s, on the former A80, which itself followed the route of a much older road, it takes its name from Inn Farm, once located here. The junction was modified in the 1980s and again when the A80 was upgraded to become the M80 in 2011.
