Orchardton Bay

A shallow inlet within Wigtown Bay on the northern shore of the Solway Firth (Dumfries and Galloway), Orchardton Bay lies to the northwest of Orchardton Farm, 2 miles (3 km) east southeast of Kirkinner. The Baldoon Sands extend to the north. Another Orchardton Bay is located 24 miles (38 km) to the east, also on the north shore of the Solway Firth.
