A hogback summit in The Machars of Dumfries and Galloway, Drumagee rises to just beyond 85m (278 feet) between Chapel Hill and Drumwhillan, on the right bank of the Tarf Water, 2 miles (3 km) southwest of Newton Stewart. This is part of an extensive drumlin field, with its principal axis aligned NNE-SSW suggesting the direction of flow of an ancient ice sheet.
