Newlands Bridge

An arched masonry bridge in the Scottish Borders, the Newlands Bridge crosses the Lyne Water by Newlands Kirk, a mile (1.5 km) south of Romanno Bridge. Built in the 18th C. to replace a wooden bridge at the same location, this structure has been subsequently much altered, including widening in 1938. It was B-listed in 1971.
