Attadale Railway Station

(Atadal)

Attadale Station (Gael: Atadal) is a remote railway halt on the eastern shore of Loch Carron in Highland, next to Attadale House and Gardens. It was opened in 1870 by the Dingwall & Skye Railway Company. Situated on what is now described as the Kyle of Lochalsh Line, Attadale is preceded by Strathcarron Railway Station, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the north northeast, and followed by Stromeferry, 4½ miles (7 km) to the southwest. Operated by ScotRail, Attadale Station is unstaffed and was used by only 820 passengers in 2016.
