Banavie Railway Station

Banavie Railway Station (Gael: Banbhaidh) is an unstaffed halt on the West Highland Line, lying between Banavie and Caol, just before the line cross the Caledonian Canal. Opened on the Mallaig Extension Railway in 1901, it is now operated by ScotRail and was used by around 6000 passengers per year in 2016. It is preceded by Fort William Railway Station, 1½ miles (2.5 km) to the south southwest, and followed by Corpach, a mile (1.5 km) to the west. Neptune's Staircase lies immediately to the northeast.
