Fauldhouse Railway Station

A two-platform halt on the Shotts Line, Fauldhouse Railway Station (known in Gaelic as Falas) is located a half-mile (1 km) southwest of Fauldhouse and a mile (1.5 km) west of Greenburn in West Lothian. This station was opened in 1845 by the Wilsontown, Morningside & Coltness Railway. Now operated by ScotRail, Fauldhouse Railway Station is unstaffed and is used by 45,598 passengers per annum (2009-10). It is preceded by Breich Railway Station, 2¼ miles (3.5 km) to the east, and followed by Shotts, 3 miles (5 km) to the west.
