Invergowrie Railway Station

Invergowrie Railway Station (Gael: Inbhir Ghobhraidh) is on the Perth to Aberdeen Line, lies on the north shore of the Firth of Tay, a quarter-mile (0.5 km) southeast of the centre of Invergowrie and a mile (1.5 km) west southwest of Ninewells in Dundee City. This station was opened by the Dundee & Perth Railway in 1848. It is preceded by Perth Railway Station, 16 miles (25 km) to the west southwest, and followed by Dundee, 3½ miles (5.5 km) to the east. Operated by ScotRail, Invergowrie Railway Station is unstaffed and is used by only around 4300 passengers in 2016.
