Taynuilt Railway Station

Taynuilt Railway Station (Gael: Taigh an Uillt) is located on the Oban Branch of the West Highland Line, on the northwestern edge of the village of Taynuilt and 5½ miles (9 km) north northwest of Kilchrenan in Argyll and Bute. This station opened in 1880 on the Callander & Oban Railway. It comprises two platforms, a passing loop and a pair of sidings to the south of the station. Taynuilt is preceded by Falls of Cruachan Railway Station, 5½ miles (9 km) to the east southeast, and followed by Connel Ferry, a similar distance to the west northwest. Now operated by ScotRail, Taynuilt Station is unstaffed and is used by around 22,000 passengers per annum (2016).
