Ballochmyle Bridge

A single-span concrete bridge which carries the A76 trunk road over the River Ayr in East Ayrshire, the Ballochmyle Bridge is located ¾ mile (1.2 km) west of Catrine and 1½ miles (2.5 km) southeast of Mauchline. It opened in 1962, the work of F. A. MacDonald & Partners, replacing the Howford Bridge, which still lies below a short distance to the southwest. It was B-listed in 1972.
