Whitehirst Park is a substantial greenfield housing development in Kilwinning, North Ayrshire, located a mile (1.5 km) west of the town centre. Begun in 1970, this represents the first private housing development authorised by the Irvine Development Corporation as part of the extended Irvine New Town. Growth has continued on the western margin of the district into the 2010s. Facilities are limited, but include Whitehirst Park Primary School (1975) and Mansefield Trinity Church (2000).
