Glen Muck

A steep but narrow valley of East Ayrshire, Glen Muck descends from Loch Muck on the border with Dumfries & Galloway to Dalmellington, It is occupied by the Muck Water and the A713 road, and it is supposed that a Roman road once followed the valley connecting Ayr with the Solway Firth. It has a length of 4 miles (6.5 km) and opens into the Doon Valley.
