A mixed woodland in Clackmannanshire, the Gartmorn Forest lies a half-mile (0.8 km) to the northeast of Sauchie, next to Alloa Golf Club at Schawpark. Managed by Forestry and Land Scotland is traversed by paths which form part of the Gartmorn Dam Country Park and is notable for its red squirrels. The forest comprises Coalpots Wood, Gartmornhill Wood, and Hamilton Wood. The adjacent Brandyhill Wood and Cowpark Wood do not formally comprise part of the forest.
