A Graham peak of the Scottish Borders Council Area, Dun Rig lies 6 miles (9 km) south of Peebles and rises to a height of 744m (2440 feet). An Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar was installed in 1936 a short distance from the summit at a height of 742m (2435 feet).
