Blackadder Bridge

A two-span masonry bridge which crosses the Blackadder Water immediately before it falls into the Whiteadder Water at Allanton in the Scottish Borders. Built in 1851, its two elliptical arches are constructed in yellow sandstone, with ashlar dressings. It has been B-listed since 1971. The Allanton Bridge over the Whiteadder Water lies just 140m (450 feet) to the northeast.
