Maryhill Locks

A picturesque flight of five locks on the Forth & Clyde Canal between Maryhill and Wyndford, Maryhill Locks lie 2½ miles (4 km) northwest of Glasgow city centre. Opened with the canal in 1790, they fall from west to east and are numbered No. 21 to No. 25. The Kelvin Aqueduct is located a short distance to the southeast, while Temple Locks are situated ¾ mile (1.2 km) to the west.
