Glas Leathad Mor

Located northeast of Garve, in the Ross and Cromarty district of Highland Council Area, Glas Leathad Mor is the highest summit of Ben Wyvis rising 1046m (3432 feet). It is classified as a Munro and there is an Ordnance Survey triangulation pillar at its summit. There are two impressive corries on the eastern flank, and here snow will lie until the summer months. The summit ridge is covered in moss, making the walk to the summit cairn easy underfoot. Its name is derived from the Gaelic for 'big green grassy slope'.
