Vaternish Peninsula

(Waternish Peninsula)

One of several peninsular lobes which form districts within the Isle of Skye, Vaternish lies to the northwest of the island. To the west lies Loch Bay and Loch Dunvegan, which separate Vaternish from Dunvegan Head. To the east, Loch Snizort separates Vaternish from the Trotternish Peninsula.
