A minor river of South Lanarkshire, which flows from west to east through the town of Hamilton before joining the River Clyde, opposite Strathclyde Loch. In Hamilton, the burn flows through a small valley, which includes the town's Common Green and is crossed by the Cadzow Bridge (1835).
