Black Loch, a lake on the mutual border of Stirling and Lanark shires, ¾ mile N of the meeting-point with Linlithgowshire, and 2 miles S by E of Slamannan village. It has a somewhat circular outline, measures about ½ mile in diameter, and is a principal feeder of the Auchingray reservoir for supplying the Monkland Canal.
