Monach, a group of islets in North Uist parish, Outer Hebrides, Inverness-shire, 6 miles SSW of the western extremity of North Uist island, and 9½ WNW of the north-western extremity of Benbecula. A lighthouse on Shillay, the most western islet of the group, shows a white light, flashing every ten seconds, and visible all round the horizon at a distance of 18 nautical miles. Pop.
