Ruchill, Water of, a stream of Comrie parish, SW Perthshire, rising on the skirts of Ben Vorlich, and running first 3 miles east-south-eastward, next 7½ miles north-eastward along Glenartney, till it falls into the river Earn at Dalginross, opposite Comrie town. It receives numerous tributaries, chiefly mountain torrents; flows mostly on a rugged channel beset with boulders and fragments of rock; and is in high repute among anglers for abundance of common trout and sea trout.Ord.
