Parish of Borgue Borgue is a coastal parish, which lies in Dumfries and Galloway Council Area, some 371 miles (597 km) south of Stranraer and 381 miles (613 km) southwest of Kirkcudbright in Dumfries and Galloway and includes a small offshore island.It is located in the old county of Kirkcudbrightshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 54.5 sq. km (21 sq. miles).
