Parish of Monquhitter

Monquhitter is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 5 miles (8 km) east of Turriff and 12 miles (20 km) west of Mintlaw in Aberdeenshire.

It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 70.5 sq. km (27.2 sq. miles). Monquhitter has 5 neighbouring parishes; namely Fyvie, King Edward, Methlick, New Deer and Turriff.
