Parish of Bracadale

Bracadale is a coastal island parish, which lies on the Isle of Skye in Highland Council Area, some 9 miles (15 km) southwest of Portree and 23 miles (37 km) west of Kyle of Lochalsh in Highland and includes another small offshore island.

It is located in the old county of Invernessshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 368.3 sq. km (142.2 sq. miles). Bracadale has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Duirinish, Portree, Snizort and Strath.
