Parish of Mortlach Mortlach is a parish, which lies in Moray Council Area, some 11 miles (17 km) southwest of Keith in Moray and 13 miles (20 km) west of Huntly in Aberdeenshire.It is located in the old county of Banffshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 138.8 sq. km (53.6 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Dufftown.
