Parish of Urquhart and Glenmoriston

Urquhart and Glenmoriston is a parish, which lies in Highland Council Area, some 7 miles (11 km) north of Fort Augustus and 20 miles (32 km) southwest of Beauly in Highland.

It is located in the old county of Invernessshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 522.4 sq. km (201.7 sq. miles). Urquhart and Glenmoriston has 7 neighbouring parishes; namely Boleskine & Abertarff, Dores, Glenshiel, Inverness & Bona, Kilmonivaig, Kilmorack and Kiltarlity & Convinth.
