Parish of Glenbuchat

Glenbuchat is a parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 14 miles (22 km) south of Dufftown in Moray and 17 miles (28 km) southwest of Huntly in Aberdeenshire.

It is located in the old county of Aberdeenshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 44.8 sq. km (17.3 sq. miles). Glenbuchat has 4 neighbouring parishes; namely Cabrach, Inveravon, Strathdon and Towie.
