Parish of Benholm Benholm is a small coastal parish, which lies in Aberdeenshire Council Area, some 9 miles (15 km) northeast of Montrose in Angus and 11 miles (18 km) southwest of Stonehaven in Aberdeenshire.It is located in the old county of Kincardineshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 19.8 sq. km (7.6 sq. miles).
