Parish of Kilmore and Kilbride

Kilmore and Kilbride is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 24 miles (39 km) north of Lochgilphead and 27 miles (43 km) west of Bridge of Orchy in Argyll and Bute and includes a small offshore island.

It is located in the old county of Argyllshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 112.1 sq. km (43.2 sq. miles) and includes the settlement of Oban. Kilmore and Kilbride has Ardchattan & Muckairn, Kilchrenan & Dalavich and Kilninver & Kilmelfort as its neighbouring parishes.
