Parish of Arrochar Arrochar is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 11 miles (18 km) southwest of Crianlarich in Stirling and 17 miles (27 km) north of Helensburgh in Argyll and Bute.It is located in the old county of Dunbartonshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.The parish has an area of 115.7 sq. km (44.6 sq. miles).
