Parish of Scoonie

Scoonie is a small coastal parish, which lies in Fife Council Area, some 6 miles (10 km) east of Glenrothes and 7 miles (11 km) south of Cupar in Fife.

It is located in the old county of Fife, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 16.7 sq. km (6.4 sq. miles). Scoonie has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Ceres, Kennoway, Kettle, Largo, Markinch and Wemyss.
