Parish of Luss

Luss is a coastal parish, which lies in Argyll and Bute Council Area, some 7 miles (11 km) north of Helensburgh in Argyll and Bute and 9 miles (14 km) northwest of Alexandria in West Dunbartonshire.

It is located in the old county of Dunbartonshire, which disappeared following the Local Government (Scotland) Act 1974.

The parish has an area of 116.3 sq. km (44.9 sq. miles). Luss has 6 neighbouring parishes; namely Arrochar, Bonhill, Buchanan, Cardross, Kilmaronock and Rhu.
